Salary: RM3,700 to RM4,000 (based on qualification & experience)
Working Days & Hours: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (On-site)

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Associate Software Tester to join our dynamic game development team in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the highest level of product quality through thorough testing, process improvement, and collaboration across development teams.

You’ll be responsible for leading testing activities throughout the project development lifecycle, ensuring issues are identified early and resolved efficiently, while driving a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor juniors and participate in testing activities throughout the project development lifecycle (e.g., SCRUM).
• Develop and execute test plans, conduct test case design, and perform test execution and reporting.
• Utilize test and bug management tools to track, analyze, and manage defects effectively.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and product owners to ensure smooth release cycles and post‑release stability.
• Conduct regression, functional, and exploratory testing to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA team members.
• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance testing efficiency and improve overall product quality.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in test planning, execution, and reporting.
• Strong proficiency in test management, reporting, and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, or similar).
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies and techniques.
• Familiarity with SCRUM or Agile development frameworks.
• Independent, proactive, and self‑directed approach to work.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentorship abilities.
