As a Software Quality Engineer / Senior Engineer, you will be working with a team of engineers to execute software development life cycles.

Responsibilities

• Execute software development life cycles, including Software Requirement Specification review, test case preparation, test case review, and testing.
• Plan, schedule, and manage assigned projects with minimal guidance to ensure the quality delivery of software quality assurance testing reports within the agreed timeline.
• Prepare, maintain, and review test cases for new software features and regression testing with stakeholders.
• Execute test cases and gather data for software bugs.
• Coordinate software issue tracking data entry for software issues found in testing.
• Work to understand the sequence to reproduce software issues.
• Provide feedback to software engineering on software technical discussions/reviews.
• Understand how to identify a software issue versus a hardware issue.
• Keep on schedule for executing testing for a software release.
• Complete any other tasks assigned from time to time based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related engineering disciplines (Electrical/Electronic, Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
• Able to work with typical engineering lab equipment.
• Passion for software testing.
• Good statistical and technical writing abilities.
• High sense of urgency for tasks assigned.
• Strong commitment to overall software quality and timeline.
• Effective English verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to different environments and work based on priorities.
• Strong commitment to learning and continuous improvement.
• Strong ethics, diplomacy, patience, good listening skills, and ability to interact with a diverse group of individuals.
• Sharp problem‑solving skills, creative, innovative, and out‑of‑the‑box thinking.
• Experience in software testing is an advantage.
• Experience in semiconductor industry is an advantage.
• Familiarity with machine operation and hardware (motor, sensors, actuators) behavior is an advantage.
