Software QA Tester (Web & Mobile Applications)
We are looking for an experienced Software QA Tester with strong manual testing skills and deep understanding of fintech or remittance workflows. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of our web and mobile applications across multiple development and release cycles.
Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Execution
- Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web and mobile applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, UAT, and end‑to‑end testing.
- Test across various devices, OS versions, browsers, and multi‑environment layers (Test, Staging, Pre‑Production).
Fintech / Remittance Domain Testing
- Validate onboarding, KYC, transaction creation, fund receipt, FX rates, compliance triggers, and payout flows.
- Ensure all tests follow internal compliance, audit, and security requirements for financial systems.
API & Backend Verification
- Verify API responses, payloads, and error codes.
- Review application and API logs to support root cause analysis.
Defect Tracking & Collaboration
- Identify, document, and track defects using Jira or ClickUp.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to clarify requirements and fix issues.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and QA reporting.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5+ years QA experience in web or mobile testing.
- Strong experience writing test plans and detailed test cases.
- Understanding of fintech, remittance, or payment workflows.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Hoppscotch.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
- Experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation integration.
- Basic SQL knowledge for data validation.
- Exposure to performance/load testing tools.
