Qualifications

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and review comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for complex and integrated systems.
• Coordinate and oversee SIT, Sanity, and UAT testing activities.
• Review test deliverables from QA team members and provide constructive guidance.
• Perform detailed defect analysis and collaborate with teams to drive effective root-cause resolution.
• Maintain and enhance reusable test assets and frameworks.
• Provide technical support, knowledge sharing, and mentorship to junior QA members.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Project Managers, and clients to ensure testing aligns with requirements.
• Advise clients (testers/business users) on testing-related matters.
• Track and report testing progress, coverage, and quality metrics to management.
• Recommend and implement improvements in testing processes, templates, and tools.
• Ensure compliance with established QA standards and documentation practices.

Job Requirements

• Strong understanding of SDLC and QA/testing methodologies.
• Advanced SQL/database querying skills.
• Basic knowledge of Linux commands.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one test management tool.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Exposure to any automation tool is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in structured testing environments.
