Role Overview

We are seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to support testing activities across enterprise software projects. You will work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Project Managers to ensure software quality through structured testing, defect management, and validation of system functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and understand project requirements and functional specifications
• Design and document test scenarios, test cases, and traceability matrices
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing
• Log, track, and verify defects using bug management tools
• Work closely with development teams to clarify issues and support defect resolution
• Validate deployment procedures and release documentation
• Support automation testing activities where applicable
• Perform data validation using SQL where required
• Assist in preparing release notes and deployment checklists
• Participate in performance testing activities when needed

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in software testing
• Good understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience designing test strategies for enterprise or high-transaction systems
• Hands‑on experience with SQL (data validation), Selenium or similar automation tools, API testing tools (e.g., Postman / SoapUI), performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter), Git/GitLab, Maven, Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools, and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira or similar)
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
