Job summary

A leading logistics company in Malaysia is seeking a system integrator to enhance and support Warehouse Management System (WMS) modules. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of experience in software development or system integration, with skills in C#, Java, and relational databases. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and support on-site deployment and testing activities. This role demands excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

Configure, enhance, and support Warehouse Management System (WMS) modules

Implement WMS workflows for inbound, outbound, putaway, picking, replenishment, and inventory control

Integrate WMS with automation equipment (ASRS, conveyors, AMR/AGV, sorters) via WCS/MCS

Develop and maintain system interfaces (API, message-based, file-based communication)

Handle transaction flow, equipment handshake, status monitoring, and exception handling

Prepare and execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Support go-live activities, hypercare, and post-implementation stabilization

Troubleshoot production issues related to system integration, data inconsistency, and automation behavior

Prepare technical documentation (interface specs, configuration guides, test cases)

Work closely with automation engineers, vendors, and customer IT teams

Support on-site commissioning and project deployment activities

Job Experience

2–5 years of software development or system integration experience

Experience in WMS, ERP, MES, WCS, or industrial/enterprise systems is preferred

Exposure to automation or industrial systems is an advantage

Technical Skills

Proficiency in C#, Java, or equivalent backend programming language

Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)

Understanding of system integration concepts (API, messaging, interface error handling)

Familiarity with transaction-based systems and state management

Soft Skills

Able to work in a fast-paced, project-based environment

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Good communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

Willingness to support on-site deployment and hypercare periods
