  • Design, review, and evolve system architecture, APIs, and data flows.

  • Establish and enforce engineering standards, code quality practices, and development workflows.

  • Make technology stack decisions aligned with long-term scalability, maintainability, and reliability.

• Product & Platform Development

  • Lead the development of platform features that improve learning experience, assessment quality, and job readiness.

  • Collaborate closely with product, growth, and operations teams to ship impactful features.

  • Ensure engineering work directly supports measurable student outcomes and business goals.

• Instruction & Engineering Mentorship

  • Deliver advanced technical instruction when required.

  • Mentor instructors, junior engineers, and students in system design, debugging, and engineering best practices.

  • Review student and internal projects using real-world production standards.

  • Raise the overall technical bar of Sigmaschool’s engineering culture.
