Job summary

A leading IT service provider in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Software Engineer to build and maintain applications for enhancements and bug fixes. The role involves working on web applications and Oracle PL/SQL backend development. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in software engineering with skills in Java, Struts, and Hibernate. Strong communication skills and adaptability are essential. Experience in the insurance domain is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software engineering experience using Java, Struts, Hibernate, jQuery, Oracle PL/SQL.
• Strong knowledge of application development methodologies (writing code, debugging, version control and testing).
• Experience in Insurance Domain is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain applications for new enhancements, bug fixing, performance improvement, or interface upgrades.
• Work on Web Application and Oracle PL/SQL backend development.
• Involve in all stages of application development: design, coding, development, and deployment.
