A leading technology firm in Malaysia is seeking a Software Engineer with strong skills in C# and MS SQL. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions, crucial collaboration with teams, and feeling comfortable coding independently. Working hour: Mon-Fri, 8.30am-5.30pm
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain reliable software solutions that meet business and user requirements.
Contribute to system design and architecture discussions with guidance from senior team members.
Follow coding standards and best practices to ensure code quality and maintainability.
Support and collaborate with teammates, including assisting junior developers when needed.
Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver features on schedule.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in development and production environments.
Take responsibility for assigned modules or features and communicate progress clearly.
Continuously learn and apply new technologies, tools, and development practices.
Maintain clear and accurate documentation for code, features, and technical changes.
Contribute positively to team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and problem-solving efforts.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience; however, fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience in developing web-based applications using C#, MS SQL, and Stored Procedures, or Windows-based applications using C# or C++ is preferred.
Strong programming skills with well-structured, clean, and reusable code.
Solid understanding and practical application of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
Good knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS).
Strong awareness of user experience and application usability.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
Preferably have own transport (office not near to public transport)
Knowledge of the stock market or financial industry is an added advantage.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a programming skills assessment.
