The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Social Media Team Leader to lead and manage our social media strategy and team across Chinese-speaking markets. This role requires a strong understanding of digital trends, audience engagement, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will oversee content planning, campaign execution, and performance analysis across all platforms, while ensuring alignment with brand identity and business goals.

Main responsibilities of the role:
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the social media team, ensuring timely and impactful execution of campaigns across all key platforms.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to strengthen XM’s presence and engagement across Chinese-speaking markets.
  • Monitor and analyze social media trends, ad performance, and audience behavior to drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee all content creation, review and approval processes to ensure content is brand-aligned, engaging, and optimized for platform best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal departments including Creative, Translation, BD, and Product to align campaigns with broader marketing and business objectives.
  • Manage and publish content calendars, guiding the team in creating high-quality, platform-specific content (posts, videos, livestreams, etc.).
  • Track, report, and optimize KPIs for engagement, growth, and conversion across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, TikTok, and Line.
  • Coach and mentor junior social media team members, setting clear performance goals and development plans.
  • Ensure all content and interactions are compliant with brand guidelines and global marketing standards.
Main requirements:
  • A qualification in Marketing, Digital Communications, Journalism, Media, or another relevant discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of hands‑on social media experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Possess excellent content management system and social media skills
  • Experienced with social media management tools such as Sprinklr, Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, TikTok, Line.
  • Have excellent digital copywriting and editing experience, be creative, and have enthusiasm for digital design.
  • Be proficient at planning your own work, multitasking, and delivering to tight deadlines, with minimal supervision.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.
  • Detail‑oriented, analytical, and performance‑driven mindset.
  • A collaborative team leader with a positive, proactive attitude.
