Job description

Responsible for SMT (Surface Mount Technology) printing and placement equipment, process optimization, and technology improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process Technology

Lead improvement and upgrades of SMT printing and placement processes to reduce manufacturing costs and enhance product quality.

Manage technical issues related to SMT quality and implement corrective actions to improve line performance and reduce downtime.

2. Equipment Technology

Operate, debug, and program SMT printing and placement machines.

Preferred experience with SMT equipment brands such as FUJI, Panasonic, and Siemens.

Reduce equipment failure rates and perform preventive maintenance.

Fine-tune machine parameters to support efficient and stable operations.

3. Reporting & Coordination

Prepare technical reports and data analysis to support decision-making.

Collaborate with supervisors to accomplish departmental goals and assigned tasks.

Job Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related field.

12 years of relevant experience in SMT process and equipment.

Knowledgeable in SMT process flow and operational principles.

Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

Proficient in quality tools such as MiniTab, QC Seven Tools, and Six Sigma methodologies.

Ability to effectively engage with customers and internal stakeholders.

Understanding of evaluation standards for new equipment and materials.

Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage (to liaise with counterparts in China).
