Job description

Overseeing daily on-site construction activities, including manpower, materials and work allocation, ensuring projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards

Supervising subcontractors and workers, distributing tasks, monitoring performance and maintaining smooth workflow

Coordinating with site engineers, project managers, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project execution

Monitoring site processes and safety, including electricity, water and material handling, ensuring proper storage, stock management and compliance with SOPs

Conducting site inspections to maintain quality, troubleshoot issues and ensuring adherence to safety regulations and local building codes

Maintaining accurate records of daily activities, reports and documentation, including progress logs, permits and inspection reports

Supporting team members' welfare, promoting teamwork and address on-site challenges promptly

Performing any other duties assigned by management to support successful project completion

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in construction management, civil engineering, quantity surveying, architecture or related fields

Site supervision and safety certifications (e.g. CIDB, OSHA)

Prior Experience in construction, with knowledge of on-site trades, materials and processes

Skills

Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise subcontractors and workers, allocate tasks and drive team productivity

Solid understanding of safety regulations, compliance and best practices on construction sites
