Job description

We are seeking a committed and experienced Site Supervisor to join our construction team under Sunrise Binari Group. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities and ensuring the successful and timely completion of projects in Kulai, Johor.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the project manager in planning the project
• To supervise and monitor site worker efficiency and productivity of progress on site
• To arrange regular meeting with the workers or sub-contractor to match targeted schedule and resolve site matters
• Supervise construction projects to make sure they meet technical specifications
• Ensure that construction projects are completed within planned cost and time
• Convey information about the progress of the project and performance of the contractors to the manager
• Assist the project manager in the procurement of certain materials
• Educate site workers on safety procedures to be adopted at the site and make sure that they adhere strictly to safety standards
• Report accidents that occur at the construction site to the project manager
• Administer or make sure that first aid is administered to any injured construction worker
• Ensure the smooth day to day operation of work activities at the construction site
• Maintain good relationship with site workers, contractors, and suppliers

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin (preferred as role requires candidate to deal with Mandarin speaking suppliers)
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Must be able to read building plan and site drawing
• Must posses own transport and willing to be based at assigned Project location within Johor
