Job description

As a Site Supervisor at Syfon Systems Sdn Bhd, you will play a key role in overseeing daily site operations to ensure smooth execution of construction activities. This full‑time position, based on‑site and reporting to the Project Manager, involves coordinating workers, subcontractors, materials, and machinery while maintaining safety compliance and project timelines. You will be responsible for monitoring work progress, liaising with consultants and authorities, and ensuring accurate site records are maintained. Your contributions will be essential to delivering quality results on time and within budget.

What you’ll be doing

• Monitor daily site activities and report work progress to the Project Manager, including day‑to‑day management of workers, sub‑contractors, machinery/equipment, and materials on site.
• Monitor the work of laborers and liaise with consultants/architects as directed by the Project Manager.
• Liaise with authorities, consultants, contractors, and other related parties.
• Update and maintain records of manpower attendance, materials, machinery/equipment, and other relevant information pertaining to construction site safety compliance.
• Report daily job progress of teams via Telegram.
• Ensure compliance with and enforcement of safety standards on site.
• Assist the office team with project claim documentation.
• Respond promptly to any emergency cases during on‑call duty.
• Carry out other tasks as assigned from time to time by the Project Manager.

What we’re looking for

• Certificate or Diploma in Engineering (Civil), Architectural, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• At least 1–2 years of working experience in a related field.
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
• Familiar with construction drawings and the overall construction process.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to speak Mandarin to liaise effectively with Chinese contractors (added advantage).
• Must possess own transport and be capable of handling multiple site assignments.
• Willing to travel outstation to Penang, Johor Bahru, Sabah, Sarawak and other locations across Malaysia.
