Job summary

A construction and project management company is seeking a candidate to assist the Project Manager and Construction Manager in planning and monitoring daily works at project sites. The role includes implementing quality management policies and ensuring safety practices. Candidates should have at least a diploma or certificate in a related field and possess good communication skills. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Willingness to travel locally is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager/Construction Manager in planning, monitoring, and controlling daily works at project sites.
• Implement policies, procedures, and instructions as per quality management system.
• Ensure project operations and document control procedures are adhered to.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor subcontractors' activities at project sites.
• Maintain housekeeping and implement safety practices.
• Ensure all works are in accordance with drawings and specifications.
• Ensure inspections and tests are carried out as per Inspection and Test Plans.
• Submit sample materials and calibration certificates for approval.
• Undertake other duties as instructed by the superior.

Responsibilities

• To assist Project Manager/ Construction Manager to plan, monitor and control daily works at the project sites.
• To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the quality management system.
• To ensure that project operations and document control procedures are adhered to.
• To plan, coordinate and monitor subcontractor’s activities at project sites.
• To maintain good house-keeping and implement safety practices.
• To ensure that all works carried out are in accordance to the drawings, specifications, construction plan, procedures, work instructions and etc.
• To ensure that inspection and tests are carried out as per Inspection and Test Plans and that all quality control mechanisms are being used. Results of such to conform to specifications.
• To submit sample materials and calibrations certificates to relevant consultants for approval.
• To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior
