Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily construction activities and ensure work is completed according to the project plan.
  • Supervise and coordinate workers, subcontractors, and suppliers on‑site.
  • Ensure compliance with project blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards in compliance with Malaysian construction laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and safety briefings.
  • Report and address any safety hazards or non‑compliance issues.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth communication.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily progress, site activities, and workforce attendance.
  • Prepare reports on work progress and site conditions for management.
  • Identify and resolve any issues that may delay the construction process.
  • Handle conflicts between workers, subcontractors, or suppliers to maintain site efficiency.
  • Ensure materials and equipment are used efficiently and prevent wastage.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material deliveries as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to Malaysian construction regulations (CIDB, DOSH, and local authority guidelines).
  • Obtain necessary permits and approvals as required by law.
