What You Will Need to Do:
- Ensure site management implementation, execution, and monitoring of site activities in accordance with Company and Site ESH Policy and Integrated Management System (QESH).
- Actively participate to review HIRADC & EAI on-site activities and execute appropriate action to mitigate the impact.
- Assist in maintaining the site ERP plans and procedures.
- Ensure all equipment and machinery at the site complied with relevant codes and that workers or operators are suitably trained.
- Ensure the availability of safety data sheets (SDS) for chemical or hazardous materials prior allowed to bring in or used in the project site and the associated risk is reviewed and monitored.
- Participate in any incident or accident investigation, report preparation, and ensure implementation of corrective actions.
- Participate and assist the site ESH Committee in auditing the project site on compliance to the Integrated Management System (QESH) & Operation Control Procedures implementation.
- Promote safe conduct of work and practices, conduct ESH training for workers, and implement ESH programs at the site.
- Checking and inspect contractor’s or subcontractor’s work to ensure compliance with the integrated QESH Management System.
- Correcting any unsafe practices, inspecting, and rectifying any unsafe place of work.
- To liaise with contractor’s appointed safety supervisors or representatives for compliance to the Integrated Management System (QESH).
- Assist ESH Manager to collect and compile relevant monthly ESH related data, statistics and reports.
- Prepare, support and participate in SHASSIC assessment, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 audit.
- Ensure site ESH documentation are maintained up to date and filing in place accordingly.
Desired Qualification, Skills & Experiences:
- Minimum Bachelor in Health & Safety or equivalent.
- Registered competent Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) with the Occupational Safety & Health Department (DOSH) - valid Yellow Book.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Construction.
- Strong knowledge of the Occupational Safety and Health (Amendment) Act 2022 (OSHA 2022).
- Experience with the management system ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge and experience in Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) practices.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to accept contract employment (yearly renewable basis).
