Job description

Exentec Services Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. – Kulim, Kedah

Responsibilities

• Conduct HSE surveillance to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Conduct safety inspections on equipment and machinery to ensure are in good condition.
• Attending and conducting safety awareness training to provide update and awareness on HSE related issues.
• Conduct HSE induction to provide basic safety knowledge to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Participate and act as witness during maintenance of color-coding process to ensure equipment and machinery are accurately color coded.
• Assess work area based on the Permit to Work (PTW) and check the PTW and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Participate in any HSE related training to enhance personal development in HSE field. Prepare and submit reports to ensure KPls are met.
• Lead and ensure PTP & SPA implementation in every work process.
• Organize the workplace so that all work is carried out to the required standard with the minimum of risk to personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Exercise and promote good health, safety, and environment (HSE).
• Understand and implement the necessary HSE SOPs and policies. Stop / intervene and report any unsafe act, unsafe condition, and incident immediately.

Qualifications

• Minimum Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or Diploma in Safety or any related field.
• Must possess Certificate (Yellow Book) and registered as Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) from Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH).

• Proficient knowledge in the following areas: Communication and Writing skills, Computer application competency eg. Microsoft Office, i.e. Excel, Word & Power Point, Understanding of Basic Engineering, Drawings and Project site environments.

Working Hours and Benefits

Working hours: 08:00 - 17:48 (normal working hours), one (1) day rest in every 7 days. Must not exceed 60 hours per week including Over Time.

Entitled for OT Rate 1.5 (Normal Working Day & Off Day < 8 hours) / 2.0 (Off Day > 8 hours & Public Holiday/Rest Day < 8 hours office hours) / 3.0 (Rest Day / Public Holiday > 8 hours office hours) - Basic salary RM4000.00 and below.

Entitled for Fix Overtime Rate, RM15/hour - Basic Salary above RM4000.00.

Contribution of EPF, SOCSO & EIS. Annual Leave, Sick Leaves and Other Special Leaves under company.
