Job summary

A leading safety consultancy firm is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to ensure a safe workplace in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate must have 3-5 years of construction site experience and hold an active DOSH Yellow Book. Responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, investigating accidents, enforcing compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining safety documentation. Strong communication skills and knowledge of environmental safety practices are essential for this role.

Qualifications

Job description

TheSite Safety Supervisor promotes a safe workplace among all site teams and contractors by providing training and encouraging safe work habits.

Job Requirements

Work experience in safety management, preferably in the construction industry.

Must be registered with JKKP / DOSH / NIOSH and is aYellow Book holder.

Competent and well versed with OSHA regulations.

Job Description

Conduct routine safety inspections to identify and rectify unsafe practices, potential hazards, and risks.

Investigate any unsafe acts, workplace accidents, and conflicts, recommending corrective and preventive measures.

Enforce compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines as outlined by local authorities and industry standards.

Prepare, review, and maintain all necessary documentation related to safety and health, ensuring adherence to deadlines.

Liaise with external agencies to ensure all safety protocols are compliant with regulatory standards.

Maintain records of all incidents, safety checks, and training conducted, ensuring that the site is always audit-ready.

Skills & requirements

Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of construction site experience

Education/Registration: Diploma in a safety-related field; must be registered with NIOSH/DOSH/JKKP.

Certification (Non-negotiable): DOSH Yellow Book (active) — valid and recognised by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia (DOSH).

Knowledge and experience in environmental, safety and health practices.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.
