Job Responsibilities

2. Ensure all site activities comply with Safety and other relevant regulations.

3. Monitor and enforce safety rules, policies, and procedures among all workers and subcontractors.

4. Conduct daily site safety inspections and rectify unsafe acts or conditions immediately.

5. Identify potential hazards and carry out control measures to prevent accidents.

6. Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment at all times.

7. Conduct safety briefings, toolbox talks, and inductions for new workers and subcontractors.

8. Educate workers on emergency procedures, safe work practices, and proper equipment handling.

9. Record and report all accidents, near misses, and unsafe practices to management and Safety and Health Officer (SHO).

10. Assist in investigating incidents, determining root causes, and carry out with corrective/preventive measures.

11. Maintain up-to-date safety records, permits, and statutory reports as required by authorities.

12. Prepare and submit weekly/monthly safety reports to the Safety and Health Officer (SHO).

13. Ensure that fire-fighting equipment, first aid kits, and emergency response plans are available and maintained.

14. Organize safety drills and coordinate emergency response during incidents.

15. Liaise with site supervisors, subcontractors, consultants, and authorities on safety matters.

16. Support the Safety & Health Officer (SHO) in implementing safety programs and audits.
