Job description

We are seeking an experienced Site Safety Officer / Site Supervisor to join our team at MCC20 DEVELOPMENT & CONSTRUCTION (M) SDN BHD' in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. This full-time role will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety and environmental compliance of our construction site operations.

What you’ll be doing

• Conducting regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential health and safety risks
• Implementing and monitoring safety policies, procedures and best practices on site
• Providing safety training and guidance to site personnel
• Investigating and reporting on incidents, accidents and near-misses
• Liaising with regulatory authorities and clients on all safety-related matters
• Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all safety activities
• Promoting a positive safety culture and ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental legislation

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a Site Safety Officer or Site Supervisor in the construction industry
• Obtain valid Yellow Book or Green Book
• Able to join the soonest, A.S.A.P.
• Formal qualifications in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field
• Strong knowledge of construction health, safety and environmental regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with site personnel at all levels
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in report writing and maintaining detailed safety records
• Proactive approach to identifying and mitigating safety risks
• Able to speak Mandarin is added point to deal with client.
