Site Manager/ Site Assistant / Project Engineer

• Overall site planning to ensure project delivery on time.
• Able to discuss and resolve the site issue with developer’s project team and consultant’s team.
• Able to deal with sub-contractors to resolve the site issue and deliver the project within the time and budget.
• Checking all work completed and comply with required specification and requirements
• Prepare site progress report when necessary as required.
• Review construction work and suggest improvement measures.
• Attend site meetings, chair tool box meeting and sub-contractor meetings.
• Able to source for sub-contractor and negotiating for the better price.
• Monitor the construction budget and expenses.
• Adhere to the construction industry standards and safety regulations.
• Able to deal with local authorities and resolve the issue.
• Monitor defects work to ensure timely rectification work by contractors.
• Assist Assistant General Manager/ Managing Director on any ad-hoc issues.
• To liaise with all consultants, authorities and contractors in all project related matters
• To supervise construction work and follow up project status to ensure work progress is on schedule, consultants' and developer's requirements are met
• To ensure information is deliverable to the implementation team and contractors on a timely basis
• To review and comment on drawings, baselines programme and provide feedback to superior on a timely basis
• To handle inspection and monitoring of work according to standard
• To attend site progress meetings, client consultant meetings and provide input on related issues.
• To manage the project effectively and efficiently and to ensure progress is in accordance to Company's requirements
• To review and follow up in detail for structure, architectural and M&E drawings and specification, and report on any discrepancies
• Track and monitor the CCC processes
• To file and record project issues in accordance to company procedures

Qualification

• Candidate shall possess at least Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Candidate should have at least 2 to 5 years’ experience in related field, preferred to have experience under Housing Construction companies especially in high-rise building.
• Candidate should have excellent written and communication skills.
• Ensuring the transparency, accountability, and responsibility at all transactions in the department in the interest of the company.
• Some of the required skills and qualities include technical understanding of construction principles, sound technical understanding of construction, trade sequencing, and best construction practices.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Bukit Mertajam and all site locations.
