Job summary

A construction and design company in Subang Jaya is seeking a candidate to assist in all stages of construction project rollout. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil) and knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Responsibilities include monitoring site construction, verifying plans, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality controls. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, and candidates must be able to work under pressure and independently.

Job description

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.

Knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Microsoft office, other acquired skills will be an added advantage.

Demonstrate sound administrative, analytical, organizational, scheduling and prioritizing skills. Be proactive, responsive to change in direction or priorities and able to work under tight deadlines & fast-paced environment.

MUST be able to work fast under pressure.

Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Computer literate proficiency in Microsoft Office application.

Professional and pleasant personality with good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Possess own transport.

Candidates fluent in multi-language is an advantage as role requires candidate to deal with multi-racial speaking clients.

Responsibility

To assist project manager/supervisor in all stages of construction project rollout.

To monitor and supervise the site construction works to ensure that all works of the project are carried out in accordance with the order requirements, drawings and project time schedule.

Responsible for checking and verifying all plans, coordinating design and planning works and construction drawings with all relevant parties.

To produce daily construction site reports.

Must have independent ability to coordinate/work with all relevant parties (such as contractors, clients, suppliers) / liaise with local authorities or correspondence with in-house and external consultants.

Must be able to read/understand structural/architectural and basic M&E drawings.

Ensure that safety and health requirements is complied.

To verify contractor works and site measurement.

Responsible for maintaining site safety and quality controls.

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly site reports and update to project manager/ superior on project progress status.
