Silicon Design Engineer (SoC) Graduate Trainee (Start ASAP)

Join AMD as a Graduate Trainee Silicon Design Engineer to contribute to high-end SoC product design and collaborate globally in a culture of innovation.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Work on real silicon design projects in Physical Design (PD), Frontend Integration (FEINT), Design for Test (DFT), or Design Verification (DV)
  • Collaborate with global teams across different sites and time zones
  • Use industry standard EDA tools and flows
  • Physical Design: Place & Route implementation, timing/physical signoff, tapeout closure, task automation and scripting
  • Frontend Integration: Logical & physical synthesis, timing analysis, constraint development, design quality checks, bug fixes, low power quality check
  • Design for Test: Built-in Test, JTAG implementation, test pattern generation, gate level simulation, DFT debug, coverage improvement, post silicon support
  • Design Verification: Simulation or formal verification environments, testplans, testbenches, testcases, reusable components, System Verilog/formal/assertion based verification

  • Can independently drive tasks to completion
