The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Logistics and 2 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include advising clients on transportation modes, expediting dispatch of goods, and handling customs procedures. Qualifications

Job Description:

• To ensure smooth running of the local trucking and overseas import and export sections.
• Advise customers/suppliers on the routing and mode of transportation for shipments.
• Expedite timely preparation of finished goods by store for dispatch before due date.
• Issuance of Certificate of Origin as per customer request.
• File insurance claim for missing / damage outgoing shipments.
• Co-ordinate L/C shipments requirement.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Good knowledge on local trucking, oversea export and import procedures, liaison with relevant Government authorities
• Ability to interpret customs procedures and tariff codes.
• Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
