Job summary

A leading food manufacturing firm in Kuching, Malaysia, is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to monitor food safety and quality assurance programs. The role includes managing Critical Control Points and supporting audits. Candidates must possess a degree in Food Science or related fields, with 2+ years of QA/QC experience preferred. Familiarity with HACCP and other food regulations is essential. Competitive salary starting at RM2.2K, based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years working experience in QA/QC roles within the food manufacturing sector preferred.
• HACCP training or certification preferred.
• Familiar with FSSC 22000, GMP, VHM, QMS, and Food Regulations 1985.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective execution of food safety and quality assurance programs on the production floor.
• Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs) and Operational PRPs (OPRSs).
• Act as the shift-level QA representative for production zones.
