Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Johor, Malaysia, seeks candidates for a role focused on maintenance job management and quality assurance. Responsibilities include tracking job status, planning maintenance, supervising repairs, and emergency call attendance. Ideal candidates should have a diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related fields, with at least two years of experience in ACMV. Shift work is required, including nights and weekends, and a driving license is preferred.

  • Planning & scheduling maintenance jobs.
  • Highlighting equipment faults to customers during maintenance.
  • Attend emergency calls from customers during contract period.
  • Prepare root cause analysis reports for equipment issues.
  • Supervise and coordinate repair works during the contract period.
  • Manage critical spare parts stock balance.

Responsibilities
  • Tracking of on-going maintenance job status
  • Site visit to ensure maintenance quality and safety
  • Planning & scheduling of maintenance jobs
  • Observations of any equipment fault during maintenance to be highlighted to customers
  • Attend emergency calls from DC customers during DLP/Contract period
  • Assess equipment issues and prepare root cause analysis reports
  • Supervise and coordinate repair works during DLP period
  • Managing critical spare parts stock balance for ex-stock provision
  • Issuance of warranty claims towards manufacturer/supplier
Qualifications
  • Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Prefer candidate with minimum 2 years experience in dealing with ACMV, equipment Installation and etc
  • Prefer candidate with driving license
  • Ability to work shifts, during non-standard business hours that may include evening, nighttime, weekends, and/or holidays
