About the role

As the Service Engineer for Carrier, you’ll be covering Johor region in servicing our clients. You will be supported by a team of technicians and you are required to champion the customer relationship and engagement process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To handle after-sales service market sales and achieve service sales targets set by the company for the southern region.
  • To attend technical meetings at the customer site and provide solutions.
  • To review the forecast spare parts for repair work with Service Manager.
  • To connect chillers to the Carrier Smart Service Platform, monitor Chiller performance, and generate reports to customers.
  • To prepare technical reports/chiller startup reports/ monthly comprehensive chiller reports for customers
  • To conduct chiller introduction and technical training for customers/ contractors and in-house technicians.
  • To attend to customers' complaints & provide prompt service to meet customer satisfaction.
  • To assist the Service Manager in handling operation-related matters.
  • Carry out EH&S responsibilities and job site inspection as required.
  • Maintains effective communications with customers and field team members to better understand support requirements.
  • Contacts customers frequently requiring a high degree of tact and courtesy to maintain and build good rapport.
  • Develops diverse product knowledge and may perform diagnostic procedures.
  • Analyzes and interprets test information to resolve design/system related problems.
Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic, Mechatronics or equivalent
  • Min 3 years of experience in service line
  • Has good customer service skills
  • Has understanding on air conditioning within HVAC field; preferably from data centre background
