Job summary

A leading manufacturing company based in Ipoh is looking for a Senior Technician for Maintenance. The ideal candidate will hold a diploma or degree in Engineering with a specialisation in Electronics, Photonics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics, along with 2-3 years of experience in a mass production environment. Responsibilities include supporting failure analysis, collaborating with engineers for continual process improvement, and conducting reliability studies. Job description

Senior Technician - Maintenance MOL, based in Ipoh

Diploma or Bachelor / Engineering preferably majoring in Electronics, Photonics, Mechanical or Mechatronics.

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in related industry and in mass production environment. Experience working in a fiber optic transceiver manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.

Knowledge MS computer - excel/ppt and SPC monitoring controls related

Knowledge in data analytical skills with hands on working attitude.

Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes to the business needs of the company.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supports shiftly/daily failure analysis and yield monitoring using available tools (Camstar, M3Tools) and capacity/productivity model.

Work with process and maintenance engineers in fixing and characterizing the designated process/machines for continual process improvement.

Understand shiftly process controls, equipment, precautions, setup parameters to meet the product specifications.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste in the production and assign process, has added advantages.

Able to conduct gage repeatability & reliability studies and machines setup/buy-off, Assist the manufacturing personnel in operator training, qualification.

Able to communicate and interface with peers and different stakeholders.

Performing any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
