Overview

Position: Senior Technical Service Chemist (Customer Support) — based in Pasir Gudang, Johor. You will provide expert technical support and customer service to coatings industry clients.

What you'll be doing

• Provide technical expertise and support to customers on the selection, application and performance of our coating resins and related products.
• Collaborate with customers to troubleshoot issues and develop customised solutions to meet their specific needs.
• Conduct on-site visits, demonstrations and technical presentations to educate customers on our products and services.
• Collect and analyse customer feedback to identify areas for product improvement and development.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation related to customer interactions and technical support activities.
• Assist the sales team in preparing proposals and presentations for prospective customers.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations and technological advancements in the coatings industry.

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related scientific field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical service or customer support role within the painting/coating industry.
