Job summary

A leading security firm in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Surveillance & Security Executive to manage surveillance operations, ensure compliance with internal policies and safety regulations, and supervise the security personnel team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience in surveillance operations, with strong communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English. This role offers an opportunity to work independently in a critical security function.

Senior Surveillance & Security Executive

Operate, monitor and manage surveillance systems (e.g., CCTV, CMS) to detect unusual or suspicious activity.

Conduct regular reviews of recorded footage for investigations or audit purposes.

Ensure accurate, real‑time logging of events and activities observed via surveillance.

Investigate and document incidents such as theft, unauthorized access, or violations of company policy.

Prepare comprehensive reports, including evidence from video footage, for internal follow‑up or legal use.

Act as the main point of contact for footage requests from internal departments or external authorities.

3. System Maintenance and Integrity

Conduct daily system checks to ensure all surveillance equipment is functional.

Liaise with IT or external vendors for equipment troubleshooting, repairs, or upgrades.

Maintain logs of system performance, downtime, and scheduled maintenance.

4. Reporting, Compliance and Policy Enforcement

Regularly submit comprehensive reports to the Senior Vice President and Top Management detailing surveillance operations, incident trends, risk assessments, and proposed improvement plans.

Ensure surveillance operations comply with internal policies, safety protocols, and relevant legal regulations.

Support audits by retrieving and compiling required surveillance footage and logs.

Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to data protection guidelines.

5. Ad Hoc Duties

Perform any additional duties or assignments as and when directed by management, including special tasks related to security operations, compliance, or incident response.

6. Oversee the Security Personnel Team

Supervise and manage all security personnel at RGB International Bhd. Headquarters.

Ensure security staff follow duties, schedules, and company procedures.

Monitor staff performance and maintain discipline.

Handle all administrative matters such as attendance, leave, duty roster, and reports.

Take care of the welfare and needs of all security personnel.

Provide guidance and briefings to ensure smooth daily operations.

7. Occupational Safety and Health Coordinator (OSHC)

Ensure the office complies with OSHA requirements and safety regulations.

Conduct regular safety inspections and report hazards to management.

Maintain and update all OSHA documentation, records, and safety reports.

Coordinate safety training, drills, and briefings for all staff.

Monitor use and condition of safety equipment (fire extinguishers, first aid kits, etc.).

Assist in investigating workplace accidents, incidents, or near‑miss cases.

Follow up on corrective actions to ensure a safe working environment.

Act as the main contact person for all safety‑related matters in the office.

Liaison with Authorities. Acting as the primary liaison between the Company and relevant OSH authorities and ensuring that all communications and reports are accurate and timely for auditing purposes.

Bachelor’s degree in related field.

3-5 years of direct experience in surveillance or control room operations.

Proficient in CMS, CCTV management systems, related monitoring technologies, and Microsoft Office.

Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision and high personal accountability.

Good verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

High attention to detail, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive information.

Past experience with enforcement agencies will be an added advantage.
