A recruitment agency in Malaysia is seeking a Logistics Executive responsible for monitoring inventory levels, planning replenishment, and ensuring compliance with inventory handling procedures. The ideal candidate should have a diploma in Business, Operations, or Supply Chain Management, along with 2-5 years of relevant experience in inventory management within FMCG or retail environments. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Monitor inventory levels, turnover, and stock ageing; identify slow-moving or excess stock.
Plan replenishment and allocation to meet demand efficiently.
Track product shelf life and ensure FEFO/FIFO compliance.
Recommend actions for near-expiry inventory (transfers, promotions, write-offs).
Support order fulfilment: confirm stock, prioritize orders, and coordinate deliveries.
Communicate proactively with sales and customer service on shortages or delays.
Prepare inventory and fulfilment reports; analyze variances and performance.
Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, logistics, and sales to align plans.
Maintain accurate ERP data and support SOPs and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with expiry-sensitive and perishable inventory handling.
Preferable Diploma in Business, Operations, or Supply Chain Management
Min 2–5 years’ experience in inventory planning, fulfilment, or supply chain operations
Experience in FMCG, retail, manufacturing environments
Experience managing expiry-sensitive or perishable inventory
