Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a QA/Software Tester in Kuala Lumpur who will create test plans and execute evaluations of software systems to ensure high product quality. Candidates should have at least 5 years in QA/Software testing with 2 years in manual and automated testing. Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is essential. This position requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate within a team.

Qualifications

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Create the test plan/cases and strategy for software development and analyse results.
• Execute and evaluate manual/automated test cases to locate bugs and regressions and ensure product quality at a high standard.
• Conduct evaluation of software systems activities including requirements, design development, documentation, integration, test, verification and validation.
• Support team in investigation and providing bug analysis and troubleshooting.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in QA/Software testing with minimum 2 years of experience in manual and automated testing.
• Good communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin (Due to nature of business).
• Familiar with Software Testing Life Cycle.
• Skilled in product risk assessment, requirements management and tracing, defect tracking, configuration management techniques.
• Strong analytical skills and able to work under tight timeline.
• Excellent communication and a good team player.
