Role Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions for cleaning machines and automation projects.
• Lead R&D activities to create innovative software solutions and improve existing systems.
• Provide hands‑on troubleshooting and debugging support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work closely with mechanical and electrical teams to ensure seamless integration of software and machines.
• Mentor and guide engineers and junior team members, sharing best practices and technical knowledge.
• Support after‑sales teams by resolving software‑related issues at customer sites.
• Prepare clear technical documentation, including user manuals and system guides.
• Continuously improve software efficiency, reliability, and functionality.
• Ensure all software solutions meet industry standards, quality requirements, and client expectations.
• Track project progress to ensure timely delivery and alignment with project milestones.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in software development, preferably in machine, automation, or manufacturing systems.
• Hands‑on experience with PLC programming and industrial control platforms (e.g. Beckhoff, Omron, Siemens) is required or highly preferred.
• Experience working with machine control systems, industrial software, or system integration is an advantage.
• Able to collaborate effectively with mechanical and electrical engineers in a project‑based environment.
• Experience in mentoring or guiding junior engineers is preferred.
• Good communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage).
• Willing to travel locally and overseas when required.
