Job description

In this role, you will be responsible for project implementation and on-going support activities. You will be required to participate and lead in blueprint workshops, system configurations, testing and cutover efforts while providing functional input and assistance in technical development.

This position is based in Kuala Lumpur and applicants must be willing to travel to plants for projects, meetings or support.

Job Responsibilities

Handle change requests, applying strong business analysis skills to enhance current SAP ECC6 configuration to meet business and user requirements.

Interact with business users in the relevant functional area and understand their business processes, current pain points, and business requirements.

Provide SAP functional solutions and best practices with high level of professionalism to improve system utilisation through support ticket management.

Contribute to continuous improvement to the current global template solution.

Participate in SAP Rollout implementation across all project phases and conduct "as-is" and "to-be" workshops, identifying gaps against the global template.

Perform system configuration and update all project documentation.

Set up test scenarios and test cases, and perform or support some or all of the following: Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.

Conduct users training.

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree in any fields.

Minimum of 3 years of related experience.

Experience in a minimum of 2 full-cycle implementations/rollouts.

In-depth understanding of SAP Modules (PM/MM/FICO/SD) with strong integration knowledge across modules.

Exposure to SAP S/4 HANA is an added advantage.

Hands‑on experience in SAP configuration.

Strategic thinker with a positive attitude; proactive and able to work under pressure.

Able to communicate and present complex issues with assurance and confidence.

Strong analytical approach to problem‑solving and with attention to detail.

Result‑oriented with the ability to support team objectives and goals.

Demonstrates the use of consulting skills including: questioning, listening, ideas development, permission and rapport, and influencing.

Able to conduct and/lead status/technical meetings for small to medium‑sized engagements.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
