A leading international bank in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Senior Relationship Manager for corporate banking. The role involves managing client relationships, evaluating credit proposals, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience in corporate banking along with a relevant Bachelor's degree. Strong analytical and communication skills, as well as proficiency in English and/or Mandarin, are essential for success in this position.
Engage in sales and marketing activities (ability to identify prospective clients, make initial contact & build rapport is added advantage).
Manage clients’ relationship and coverage to ensure sound credit standing of client.
Prepares, proposes and evaluates credit applications and proposals as well as negotiates and packages loans based on appropriate risk management procedures to ensure that the Bank’s interest is protected.
Monitors the servicing of loans by borrowers and take necessary actions to safeguard the Bank’s interest.
Involve and encourage cross selling activity in order to enhance the bank’s profitability.
Keep abreast of the competitive products and marketing strategies.
Observe and be conversant with legal and regulatory requirements that are relevant to the department’s operations.
To ensure strict compliance of the Bank, Bank Negara Malaysia (“BNM”), other regulators and ICBC Head Office’s Policy, Procedure and Manual (“PPM”) issued from time to time.
Be primary responsible in managing compliance risk inherent in day-to-day activities, processes and systems for which it is accountable.
Undertake any ad-hoc tasks as and when required by Head of Department and/or the Senior Management.
