Senior Relationship Manager, Malaysian Corp & Multinational Biz

We are looking for an experienced Senior Relationship Manager, Malaysian Corp & Multinational Biz to join RHB Bank Berhad. In this role, you will manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients, strengthen existing relationships, and develop new business opportunities. You will work closely with internal partners to deliver strong financial performance while maintaining high service standards and sound credit quality.

What you will be doing
  • Manage and service existing relationships for the assigned corporate loan portfolio.
  • Increase depth of relationship and manage customer’s needs to achieve an acceptable level of RAROC in line with the agreed business plan.
  • Develop and acquire new relationships to grow Group Corporate Banking's balance sheet and P&L.
  • Conduct timely periodic review of the assigned portfolio to preserve loan quality.
  • Undertake timely assessment on relevant adverse market news and/or unsatisfactory account conduct that may affect the credit profile of borrowers, and implement appropriate strategies to mitigate loan losses.
  • Manage inter‑divisional relationships to assist in delivering good customer service and maintaining customer loyalty.
  • Deliver excellent service standards and troubleshoot problems & complaints from clients to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Act as a “first‑to‑know” resource on corporate market developments by maintaining regular customer visitation/contacts.
  • Participate in account planning with the Client Coverage Team and collaborate with other product partners where appropriate to maximize profitability of client group.
What we’re looking for
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in corporate or commercial banking within an established financial institution.
  • Preferably a Certified Credit Professional (CCP) or a candidate who has passed Omega’s Credit Skills Assessment (CSA).
  • Strong marketing, business prospecting, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Driven, organized, and equipped with strong relationship management capabilities.
