Job summary

A leading construction company based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, is seeking a qualified individual for a Quantity Surveyor role. This position involves managing cost control, preparing tender documents, and evaluating contractor tenders. Ideal candidates should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying and possess at least one year of relevant experience, with additional language skills being advantageous. The role requires effective communication and an understanding of both pre- and post-contract works among various construction projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in related field for Executive role, 3 years for Senior Executive.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit Contractors Monthly progress claims.
• Assist in preparing reports and variation orders.
• Implement cost control procedures.
• Participate in tendering for new projects.
• Review and analyse cost studies and budget.
