Job description
Responsibilities

Perform a full range of Quantity Surveyor activities, including tender preparation, estimation, quantities take-off, and claim preparation.

To be fully in charge of BQ, materials computation and contracts preparation.

To prepare project budgets and cost analysis.

Develop and manage tender documents, tender reports, quotation costing, and contract documents.

To ensure timely handling and certification of on‑going project claims and payments including VOs.

To ensure smooth communication and coordination with consultants, architects, engineers, builders, contractors and suppliers.

Monitor and ensure that all variation orders are properly recorded and claimed.

Attend site meetings as required by management.

Perform any other related duties as assigned by the superior.

Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building Construction or any other relevant qualifications.
  • At least 3-5 years of working experience in the related field is required. Experience in a main contractor firm, particularly in high rise building projects, will be an added advantage.
  • Well versed in Excel, Glodon TRB & TAS.
  • A clear understanding of construction industry’s law and regulations.
  • Required language(s): Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
