Job summary

A leading food manufacturing company in Malaysia seeks a Supply Chain Executive responsible for sourcing and managing suppliers, optimizing inventory levels, and coordinating logistics. The ideal candidate should possess a relevant degree and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the supply chain, preferably in the food industry. Proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia is required for effective communication. This full-time role offers the opportunity to grow within the organization and contribute to process improvements.

  • Experience in Food Manufacturing / Production industries is an added advantage.

Job description

Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective and quality goods and services.

Manage supplier relationship to ensure on‑time delivery and compliance with contractual agreements.

Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production needs and minimize holding costs.

Conduct regular inventory audits and ensure accurate stock records.

Coordinate logistics activities to ensure the timely delivery of goods and materials.

Optimize transportation and distribution processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Collaborate with production, sales and operation teams to forecast demand and align supply chain activities accordingly.

Analyze trends and data to refine supply chain processes and improve service levels.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial and supply chain efficiency.

Assess risks within the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate disruptions.

Work closely with production and sales teams to ensure alignment of financial and supply chain strategies.

Provide insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in any field.

Minimum 5 years working experience in Supply Chain, preferably Executive specializing in planning/inventory/material/purchasing or equivalent.

Experience in Food Manufacturing / Production industries is an added advantage.

Able to communicate well in verbal (Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia) and written (English & Bahasa Malaysia).

Required skill(s): MS Office related experience.

Required language(s): Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Good interpersonal, communication and good team player.

Able to multi‑task and work independently with minimal supervision.

Full‑time position.

Posses own transport.
