Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Seberang Perai is looking for a Senior Purchasing Cum Logistic Executive. This role involves sourcing and purchasing raw materials, liaising with suppliers, and managing logistics operations to ensure an efficient supply chain. Candidates must have 3–5 years of experience in procurement within the manufacturing sector and possess strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. A diploma or degree in Supply Chain or a related field is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably within manufacturing or OEM environment.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills with experience in sourcing and price analysis.
• Good understanding of logistics operations, shipment handling, and import/export documentation.

Job description

SENIOR PURCHASING CUM LOGISTIC EXECUTIVE

• Assist in sourcing and purchasing of raw materials, packaging, and services to support OEM personal care manufacturing operations;
• Liaise effectively with regional suppliers, including those based in China, to ensure smooth coordination on material sourcing, specifications, and delivery requirements;
• Conduct supplier negotiation to secure competitive pricing, favourable terms, and reliable supply arrangements;
• Maintain and update sourcing databases, supplier records, and purchasing documentation to support business continuity;
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Production, Planning, QA/QC and Warehouse to ensure timely replenishment of materials;
• Oversee logistic arrangements including shipment coordination, import documentation, and delivery scheduling to ensure end-to-end supply chain efficiency;
• Evaluate supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives in procurement and logistics processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably within manufacturing or OEM environment;
