We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong IT Infrastructure background to oversee end-to-end project delivery. The ideal candidate will coordinate with technical teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure IT projects are executed successfully, on time, and within budget. This role requires excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with a hands‑on understanding of IT operations and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend meetings and discussions with the CTO to understand project objectives, requirements, and priorities.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress, risks, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Lead, coordinate, monitor, and motivate multi‑disciplinary IT teams, ensuring tasks ae completed efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management, business units, and external vendors.
- Translate business and technical requirements into actionable tasks for project teams.
- Ensure projects comply with organizational policies, IT standards, and security guidelines.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, risk logs, meeting notes, and status reports.
- Solve technical, operational, and scheduling issues proactively to keep projects on track.
- Conduct post‑project reviews to capture lessons learned and identify process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Professional certificate (e.g., Project Management Professional, PRINCE2/Agile/Scrum Master/ITIL, etc.) is preferable.
- Minimum 3‑5 years of IT project management experience / 5‑8+ years of Senior Project Manager.
- Experienced with IT infrastructure projects (e.g., servers, networking, storage, cloud solutions, software, date centres) is preferable.
- Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects with multiple concurrent projects, cross functional teams, vendors, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid), budgeting and cost control, risk and issue management.
