Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Senior Production Technician to lead daily operations on the production line in Johor. You will be responsible for coordinating resources, monitoring product quality, troubleshooting issues, and conducting team training. The ideal candidate possesses a Diploma in Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in production supervision, especially in Injection Molding or Metal Stamping. This role emphasizes leadership and technical skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

SENIOR PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN (LINE LEADER)

Lead daily operations of the production line to meet output, quality, and efficiency targets.

Coordinate manpower and resources to ensure smooth workflow and timely production.

Set up and maintain equipment, including tooling/die installation and debugging for stable operations.

Monitor product quality, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with technical drawings and standards.

Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.

Enforce safety protocols and conduct training on standard operating procedures.

Support trial runs and process improvements to enhance production performance.

Train and motivate team members to build a disciplined, skilled, and safety-conscious workforce.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Possesses Diploma / Professional Certificate (SKM) in Engineering, Tools & Die, Injection Molding or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in production supervision inMechanical Processes; Injection Molding / Metal Stamping / Diecasting.
  • Strong technical knowledge in machine setup, tooling/die handling, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, especially in handling production issues.
