Job summary

A leading manufacturer of electrical appliances in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Production Engineering Manager to assist in managing the production engineering team. Key responsibilities include driving improvements in product quality and process effectiveness, along with overseeing cost reduction initiatives. Candidates should have at least 10 years of managerial experience in the manufacturing industry, a relevant bachelor's degree, and strong analytical skills. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Chinese is a plus.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in PIE, especially in assembly line and warehouse operations.

Senior Production Engineering Manager (Batam, Indonesia Stationed)

Responsible for assisting the Factory Manager in leading and managing the production engineering team, driving continuous improvement in product quality, process effectiveness and efficiency, operation cost reduction and EHS functionality of the manufacturing plant.

Bachelor’s Degree in Production, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related disciplines.

At least 10 years’ experience at managerial level in manufacturing industry.

Solid experience in PIE and good at manufacturing technique of electrical household appliances, especially strong in assembly line and warehouse operation.

Experience in ISO9001, lean manufacturing and 6‑Sigma is preferable.

Self‑motivated, independent, strong conceptual and analytical skill and able to work under pressure.

Good command of English; speaking and reading Chinese is an advantage.
