A leading player in the Industrial Machinery sector is seeking a Production Assistant Manager/Senior Engineer to support their expansion in Kuala Selangor. This role involves assisting in daily assembly and testing activities, coordinating manpower and materials, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Candidates should hold a diploma or degree in a relevant engineering field and have 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in Mandarin is required due to client needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or team-leading role.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Production Manager in coordinating daily assembly and testing activities.
• Coordinate manpower, machines, and materials ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Post and monitor daily production data in the SAP system.
• Drive operational efficiency and quality using Lean and Six Sigma principles.
• Ensure all production processes meet health, safety and quality standards.
• Manage, train, and motivate the production crew.
• Ensure products are completed on schedule for shipment.
