Job description

My client is a Multinational company, one of the leaders in Piping System. Currently looking for a Senior Procurement Executive to join the team. As a procurement executive, you are responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials from both internal factories and external vendors (both local and overseas) to secure quality material that meets specification at cost competitive pricings and beneficial T&C's for the company.

Job Responsibilities:

• To involve in supplier management that includes technical sourcing, selection, negotiation, contract management and new supplier registration process. Follow internal supplier review process to ensure quotations' compliance to technical specifications and commercial terms.
• Purchase requirements fulfilment including demand planning, monitor deliveries and oversee all purchasing activities. Works closely with logistics team to ensure timely deliveries of purchased goods. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on material delivery and availability planning. Support new product development (NPD) by ensuring timely availability of quality materials and components.
• Maintaining item and vendor data integrity in SAP System. Generating reports as required for purchasing related activities. Review inventory levels with Supply chain manager and propose stocking levels.
• Proactive identification for cost savings and risk management through alternative suppliers appointment, price negotiations and to improve credit facilities with suppliers.
• Conduct suppliers' performance reviews to ensure competitive offers and quality products delivered are in accordance to GF standards. Assist in ISO audit and yearly Supplier Performance Review.
• Ad-hoc assignment & improvement/cost saving project implementation as when as required by direct manager

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, business related field
• 2–5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in an engineering/projects environment.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of technical specifications and engineering drawings is a plus.
• Possess strong negotiation and communication skill.
• Candidates fluent in Mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with mandarin speaking suppliers.
• Possess positive working aggressive, hardworking, responsibility, good interpersonal and skills.
• Experience and Knowledge with SAP System and strong command of MS Excel for data analysis
