Job Role & Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Senior Process Technician to ensure the efficiency, reliability, and quality of our production processes. In this role, you will oversee day‑to‑day production operations, guide junior operators, and maintain high standards of machinery performance and product quality.
- Operate, monitor, and optimize production machinery to ensure smooth, efficient, and uninterrupted operations.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and minor repairs on machines and equipment; Escalate complex technical issues to Engineering or Maintenance teams.
- Lead machine setup, adjustment, and calibration to meet process specifications and production goals.
- Ensure all production activities consistently comply with established quality standards and specifications.
- Record, analyze, and report production data, process parameters, material usage, and deviations; recommend process improvements where necessary.
- Identify, report, and prevent equipment malfunctions, product defects, or process inconsistencies proactively.
- Mentor and guide junior operators, providing training and support to improve team performance.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and good housekeeping standards in the production area; enforce adherence to SOPs, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, supervisors, and other departments to ensure seamless production workflow.
- Take on additional tasks or process improvement initiatives as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Accountabilities
- Ensure uninterrupted production operations by monitoring machinery, optimizing process parameters, and maintaining product quality standards.
- Conduct advanced troubleshooting and routine maintenance; Escalate technical issues when required.
- Maintain accurate production records and report deviations, non‑conformities, and improvement opportunities.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Science, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills & Attributes
- Strong technical knowledge of production machinery and processes.
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and process optimization skills.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and train junior staff effectively.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills, including reading, writing, and counting.
