Qualifications

About Us

HaloVega Solar is a fast-growing solar cell manufacturing startup located in Perai, Penang. We are expanding our operations and seeking talented Process Engineers and Senior Process Engineers to support our plant ramp-up. You will play a key role in monitoring process performance, resolving production issues, and driving continuous improvement in yield, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Work with Production and Process teams to improve daily operations and line stability.

Monitor key process parameters and troubleshoot any deviations promptly.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance yield, quality, and productivity.

Analyze process data to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.

Train production staff on standard procedures and operating guidelines.

Guide and support junior engineers and technicians to ensure smooth production flow.

Prepare and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and quality control documentation.

Senior Engineers will lead improvement projects, provide technical direction, and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronic, or related field).

Preferably with solar cell or semiconductor manufacturing experience.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Process Engineer – Willing to work on rotating shifts and perform overtime as required.

Senior Process Engineer – Work on normal day shift; minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
