Job summary

A leading company in payroll and HR located in Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Manager Payroll & HR Journalist. This role involves ensuring accurate monthly payroll for both white- and blue-collar staff, handling statutory payment compliance, and supporting HR operations. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in HR and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, along with proficiency in Boss.net and Kakitangan software. Strong organizational and analytical skills are essential for this position.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the same capacity with good track record in HR.
  • Extensive knowledge of payroll function including preparation and taxes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure complete monthly payroll for staff via Boss Net & Kakitangan.
  • Handle payment for statutory government-related bodies on time.
  • Resolve inquiries about pay slips, contracts, leaves, and claims.
  • Assist with HR functions and monitoring attendance.
  • Manage HR-related databases and maintain records.
