  • Education: A diploma or bachelor's degree in hospitality, sports & recreation management, business administration, or a related field is often preferred.
  • Experience: Several years of relevant experience in club operations, hospitality, or a similar environment, with demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and risk management.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as per operational needs.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is an added advantage but not required.
  • Ability to work independently with discretion for confidential information.
  • Problem‑solving, attention to details, and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of all clubhouse facilities, potentially including food and beverage, fitness areas, sports courts, and social lounges.
  • Program and Event Planning: Plan, coordinate, and implement a diverse range of sports, fitness, social events, and recreational activities that cater to members' interests and enhance engagement.
  • Customer Service & Member Relations: Act as a main point of contact for member inquiries, feedback, and complaints, striving to provide high‑quality customer service and foster a positive community environment.
  • Facility and Equipment Upkeep: Ensure all facilities and equipment are safe, clean, well‑maintained, and comply with health and safety regulations. This includes coordinating repairs and managing maintenance schedules.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise, train, and schedule frontline staff, event helpers, or volunteers, ensuring efficient workflow and high service standards.
  • Administration and Finance: Manage budgets, control expenditure, handle facility bookings, prepare reports on utilisation and performance, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to maximise operational performance.
